Rockhound State Park in New Mexico

Once again, we had a chance to meet up with Mike’s parents, who are snowbirds from Oregon, at Rockhound State Park near Deming, New Mexico. We had a short but nice visit at this wonderful campground. Our campsite was so spacious we wished we could have stayed longer and taken advantage of local hiking and of course, more time to visit with the folks. However, we were watching the weather and it looked best to move on to our next destination, White Sands National Monument.  We will definitely check out this park again in the future!
